Bellagio Travel Diary

I completely understand why George Clooney holidays in Lake Como. The ferry ride alone was enough to have me drooling. With a breathtaking view of the glistening water and snow-covered mountains, enjoying breakfast on our private balcony each morning was the ultimate luxury. As it’s the off-season for tourists, most local businesses were shut up tight for the winter, making it eerily quiet, yet lovely to be able to explore its streets without the bustling crowds (selfish, I know). Spoilt by an open fire, nightly meals were met with picture perfect sunsets. Bellagio is by far the most beautiful place I have ever been, and I would love to visit it again someday soon, perhaps during the spring, before the rush of tourists appear at its door.
