Blood Orange Granita, Mango Sorbet & Orange Lace Biscuits

With the weather seeming to slowly but surely warm up (despite today’s forecast for grey skies and rain clouds), a sweet treat that requires little effort, but that seriously packs a punch, seems more than appropriate to bring on the sun! These icy treats make for a fun dessert, and the oriental serving spoons are an easy way to enjoy them. The intensity of the blood orange and mango tones clearly lend themselves to incredible photographs too. The fine orange lace biscuits give a beautiful, lacy finish, along with the fresh daisies, which provide a hint of Spring.

Wowee those are some dark oranges. Such a gorgeous colour. All the ones I've been buying lately have been some sort of pale insipid red. Looks like I've been missing out!
